Meet the key staff who oversee the leadership of the School.
Chrissy Gamble Principal (from January 2017)
Chrissy Gamble has been recently appointed to lead the School from January 2017. Chrissy is the current Head of Junior School at Cranbrook in Sydney and is looking forward to joining us in the new year.
Sandra Holland Head of School (Operations)
Chrissy Gamble’s first decision, with the Board’s full support, was to appoint Sandra Holland as Head of School (Operations) – a position Sandra is excited to take up from the start of third term 2016 and carry into 2017 and beyond. In the second half of this year, Sandra Holland will be in regular contact with Chrissy Gamble to ensure a smooth transition into 2017 and the new leadership structure that has emerged from the appointment process. This prominent role will see Sandra assume primary responsibility for the day-to-day operations of CCGS, drawing on her outstanding administrative capabilities. She will oversee several new portfolios and positions, and retain significant input into strategic planning alongside colleagues in the senior management team.
Sandra Holland is responsible for Pastoral Care and the day to day operations of the School. She will also be the Acting Principal for the remainder of 2016 until Chrissy's arrival in January 2017. Sandra Holland is located on the Main School campus.
Sue Moir Head of Individual Differences
Sue Moir heads the Individual Differences team and is responsible for many of our support and enrichment programs in conjunction with our classroom teachers. Sue Moir operates from the New Vicarage, located on the Main School Campus.
Jane Eddy Head of Early Years
Jane Eddy is the Head of Early Years which encompasses the Kindergarten, Prep and Year 1 and is responsible for the wellbeing and educational directions of our Early Years programs. Jane Eddy is located in Parkside.
David Colvin Chief of Staff
David Colvin is a long-standing and senior member of our teaching team and is also responsible for supporting the staff including their ongoing professional development. David Colvin leads the Year 6 teaching team and operates from the Main Campus.
John Watson Head of Art
John Watson is our much-adored Visual Arts teacher and works with all children from Prep to Year 6 during their weekly Art sessions. John Watson operates from the Art Room which may be found on Main Campus.
Dani Arcaro Head of Music
Dani Arcaro is our talented and innovative Head of Music and is repsonsible for the classroom music program from Kindergarten through to Year 6. Dani Arcaro also oversees our wide range of music ensembles, choirs and performances and is located on our Main Campus.
Trent Brownjohn Head of Health and Physical Education
Trent Brownjohn is our dedicated "sport guru" and heads up the Health and Physical Education Department. Trent Brownjohn is located on the Main Campus.
